Abstract

Objectives: To determine the primary stability of the Southern wide diameter (8 mm) implants, Neoss regular diameter (4 mm) implants, and Southern regular diameter (3.75 mm) implants placed in the midline of edentulous mandibles for single‐implant overdentures. Variables related to host site and implant characteristics were investigated to determine their influence on the primary stability of the implants.
